At eComOne, giving back to the community is something we truly believe in. Recently, our team came together to support Jerry Green Dog Rescue and we’re proud to share the impact we were able to make through a combination of fundraising, personal challenges, and volunteering.

Fundraising with Purpose

Our support began with a series of team-led fundraising activities designed to get everyone involved while raising vital funds for the charity:

Cake Sale, Lincoln 10K & 10,000 Steps-a-Day Challenge

The team took on the Lincoln 10K. With a mixture of runners and non-runners in the team, the challenge was no easy feat. But, with the effort and determination of the eComOne team, all members smashed their target and more importantly, raised vital funds and awareness for this worthwhile cause.

These combined efforts raised an impressive £511, thanks to the generosity and commitment of the team.

20-Mile Charity Walk

Our Head of Brand, Carrianne Dukes, hiked the Edale Skyline Challenge. A gruelling and fun 20-mile hike. She completed this in 10 hours and even got her family involved in the fundraising efforts!

This challenge raised an impressive £105 for this great charity! Every step, bake, and donation helped move us closer to making a real difference.

Giving Time, Not Just Money

In addition to fundraising, we also donated something just as valuable: our time.

Two Volunteer Days Donated

Sadie Taylor and Carrianne Dukes, volunteered for the day at one of Jerry Green’s events, Paws in the Park at Normandy Hall.

Molly Watson, a work experience intern at eComOne also volunteered at Lincolnshire Show for a day and received absolutely glowing feedback.

Thanks to the combined total of funds raised and volunteer support, Jerry Green Dog Rescue was able to vaccinate 22 dogs. These vaccinations are essential for protecting the dogs’ health and improving their chances of finding safe, loving forever homes.

Why This Matters to Us

Supporting Jerry Green Dog Rescue wasn’t just about hitting fundraising targets, it was about aligning with a cause that reflects our values of care, responsibility, and community impact. Knowing that our efforts directly contributed to better health and wellbeing for 22 dogs makes every step and slice of cake worth it.

We’re incredibly proud of the eComOne team and grateful to everyone who contributed.

In 2026, we pledge to raise money for Breast Cancer Care! A charity close to a lot of our team’s hearts.
