After 15 months of policy development, operational reviews, evidence-based reporting, and more spreadsheets than we care to count, we have achieved B Corp Certification. We have joined a global network of businesses verified for meeting the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
This is a proud moment for everyone at eComOne, and we want to share exactly what it means.
What Is B Corp Certification?
B Corp Certification is one of the most rigorous and credible business accreditations in the world. Awarded by B Lab, it is independently verified and audited against the B Lab Standards, a globally recognised framework that assesses a company’s impact across governance, workforce, community, and environmental practice.
To put it simply: it is not a badge you can buy. It is one you have to earn. And it places eComOne among over 10,000 purpose-driven companies across six continents who are collectively committed to using business as a force for good.
15 Months in the Making
The certification process was no small undertaking. Over the course of 15 months, the team worked through a comprehensive assessment covering every aspect of how we operate, from how we treat our people, to how we show up in our community, to our responsibilities to the planet.
A huge congratulations is owed to Carrianne Dukes, Head of Brand, who led the charge on this, and to every member of the eComOne team who contributed along the way. This was a collective effort, and it reflects something that has always been true about the culture here: we do not just talk about doing the right thing. We build it into how we work.
